About Neala
Neala didn’t originally plan to work in skincare. She grew up in a family of immigrants who owned a food and wine business in Houston and always assumed she would follow that path. But while in college she began seeing an esthetician, originally just for waxing, and that experience changed everything.
Her esthetician helped her with migraines, answered questions, and genuinely cared about her well-being. For the first time, Neala saw that skincare wasn’t just about appearance. It was about helping people feel better and more confident.
After moving to San Diego in 1986, Neala returned to school and became a licensed esthetician. She spent years working in spas, building relationships with clients, and eventually opened her own space in Del Mar, where she treated clients for decades.
Over time she realized something important. Most clients didn’t just need treatments. They needed guidance.
Neala’s approach became centered on education, personalized care, and long-term skin health. Each client had a profile, treatment history, and ongoing support, including consultations and FaceTime guidance so they always knew what to use and why. Her work was never just about performing services. It was about helping people understand their skin.
Over the years, many asked about Neala’s makeup, not because it was dramatic, but because it looked natural and radiant. About 12 years ago, she began teaching a simple approach so they could recreate the look at home and launched Neala Beauty to her own clients, offering the same makeup she used during appointments. Seeing the confidence it gave them, Neala felt compelled to share both the products and her guidance with a wider audience. Today, that philosophy lives on through Neala Beauty.
Welcome to the world of Neala Beauty.
